Ampla Health will celebrate National Health Center Week with free health screenings, family activities, informational booths, food and drinks, raffle prizes, and more on Monday, August 5, 10 AM to 2 PM, at the Arbuckle Medical and Dental Center, 89 Putnam Way in Arbuckle. The Pierce Joint Unified School District will hold a grand opening for their new swimming pool on Friday, Aug. 9, 3 PM to 6 PM, with a Ribbon Cutting at 2:30 PM. The pool is located adjacent to Pierce High School, 960 Wildwood Rd., in Arbuckle.
